The House Skatepark (Sheffield)

Reviewed by Evil Glenn

The house is another skateboard park but it has been adapted for inline skating.

As you enter you see a wall of dead boards nailed to the back of an 8 foot half pipe which provides a shit load of kick. There is another short yet wide midi ramp that leads on to some nice transfers over to a double spine the same hight as the the midi (about 4 foot)

The street course starts with a small roll in to a small jump box next to a pyamid. The rest is a box with coping next to a larger box with a knee high handrail. There are also some 1/4's at the other end.

In my opinion, I did not enjoy my visit to this park because i had not got the room to go big and realy enjoy myself. But The street skating in Sheffiald city is awesome. Check out the doggy rails outside the sport centre, and the easy to find hand rails scattered around the overpass. Shame about the recently nobbled bus station rails.
